| The SDS/Conserv-n-Aisle is the newest addition to the Thinline systems of high-density filing. The mobile carriages and on-the-floor track and deck is an integrated system which maximizes storage density, and combines ease of use with the ability to quickly and easily add, re-configure, or move the entire system. |
| By creating aisles where and when required, information is easily accessed. The 5" carriage wheels and hardened steel track allow effortless movement either left or right for convenient aisle accessibility. The aisles are easily locked into place with a locking knob to prevent the movement of any aisles while in use, providing additional safety benefits for the user. |
| The SDS/Conserv-n-Aisle is mounted directly onto the existing flooring, even on carpet. Levellers are located every 6" to accommodate uneven floors. No grouting is necessary, no sub-floors are required, and no structural damage is incurred. |
| The SDS/Conserv-n-Aisle can be expanded upon when required. Because the system is modular, it can be added onto in depth, length and height as your future needs change. "Add-ons", moving and re-installation are as simple as the original installation. |
 |
| The innovative construction of all Thinline units achieves greater filing capacity in less space. The main reason is the thinner front edge (shelf lip) which is 1/8" thick. This thinner front edge is one aspect of Thinline's versatile construction which allows nearly three times the filing capacity in the same space. Tier strength is achieved by welding the dividers, shelf, and wrapper into a solid structure. |

Heavy-duty hexagonal bars, 1" thick, supported by a channel made of 10-gauge steel. Tracks can be assembled to any length using 3' and 2' sections joined by 10-gauge splice plates which are recessed below the decking. Tracks are rigidly assembled using 20-gauge cross members.
Tracks do not require anchoring to the floor, and are permanently leveled with 2 locking levelers approximately every 6". |

Consists of 14-gauge steel, finished with a durable non-slip textured powder paint. Decking is available in 3' and 2' sections to fit between the tracks, forming an integrated seamless structure. No tools are necessary for assembly or disassembly.
Decks are easily removed for accessibility to all track parts, and for cleaning and ease of maintenance. |

All double rolling carriages assemble into units from 6' to 21' long using combinations of 3' or 2' sections. Carriages come in three different depths: Letter 26", Legal 32", X-Ray 38".
The wheel channel housings are constructed of 10-gauge steel with each wheel channel assembly factory assembled using two 5" wheels and four bearings. All wheels are double flanged, and have bearing capacity of 2,500 lbs. per bearing.
Axles consist of 3/4" diameter steel bars which interconnect all wheel channel assemblies.
All moving parts are enclosed with 16 gauge cover plates. |

All specifications are the same as for the double rolling carriages, except the depth is 21 1/2". |

Designed to complement the movable carriages, and are 3' or 2' wide by three different depths to suit tht tiers: Letter 13", Legal 16", X-Ray 19". |

SDS/Conserv-n-Aisle systems are available as either manual or mechanical assist systems. Mechanical assist carriages are supplied with a rotating handle which drives all carriage sections for smooth, effortless accessibility. |

A mechanical assist system, for example, it is tested with 1 1/2 lbs. of force to move 12,000 lbs. gross weight, with no racking or cambering. |

| SHELF - 18 gauge cold rolled steel sheet metal with 3/8" hem in front. Shelves take up only .125 inches each, which is the thickness of the hemmed steel. |
| SIDE AND BACK (WRAPPER) - 20 gauge one piece wrap-around with 3/4" flanges top and bottom and 9/16" double flange in front. |
| DIVIDERS - solid steel dividers are welded to the shelf and wrapper, forming a solid tier without the thick shelf edge needed by other systems. |
| DIVIDERLESS TIER - Shelf is 18 gauge cold rolled steel sheet metal with 3/8" hem in front. Reinforcing collar welded full width of tier (underneath). This reduces the inside clear height by 9/16". One magnetic divider is included with each tier. |
| B. | |
| 1" TOP - 18 gauge cold rolled steel with four formed sides, 1" high with 3/4" return flanges. |
| 1" BASE - 18 gauge cold rolled steel with four formed sides, 1" high with 3/4" return flanges. |
| 2", 4", 6 3/4" BASES - 18 gauge cold rolled steel with four formed sides, and 3/4" bottom flanges. Welded assembly is gussetted at four bottom corners and fitted with leveling domes. |
| X-RAY bases are reinforced to give extra weight capacity. |
| C. | |
| 90 DEGREE & 180 DEGREE - 20 gauge cold rolled steel. 90 degree doors are hinged at the bottom to allow door to remain horizontal serving as a work or support shelf. 180 degree doors are hinged at bottom to allow 180 degree arc to give unobstucted view of tier contents on those tiers used above eye level. |
| LOCKS - Individual cam locks are optional for all doors. Keyed alike unless otherwise requested. If lock is desired, it must be ordered at same time as the door. | |
 |
| 36" wide tiers with welded fixed dividers = 250 pounds per shelf |
| 36" wide dividerless tiers = 100 pounds |
 | | 36" tier = 35" L.F.I |
| 24" tier = 23" L.F.I |
